Van Doren Lab

Congratulations to graduate student Mark Palmier for being selected as a trainee of the NIH Molecular Biology training grant and for this paper in press:

We are pleased that Dr. Asokan Anbanandam has accepted our offer to begin work on assigning the NMR spectra of PMM and studying its dynamics.

Beamer and Van Doren Labs

We are excited that both the Beamer and Van Doren labs will collaborate to use NMR to study the dynamics of the 51 kD PMM/PGM. The project has received initial NIH funding: 1R03AI074779-01 entitled "NMR studies of PMM/PGM from P. aeruginosa" (Beamer, PI; Van Doren, co-I).

Tanner Lab

Tommi White, a doctoral candidate in Jack Tanner's lab, was presented with the Donald K. Anderson Award for excellence as a graduate research assistant. She was honored at the Graduate School's Awards Reception held April 17th at the Reynolds Alumni Center.
